Medical Astrology
Your chart describes a body as well as a psychology: temperament, vitality, and where you tend to hold strain. Medical Astrology is an old way of reading that, and I use it alongside Chinese medicine's picture of the organs and elements. It's a companion to your care. I don't diagnose or treat, and it never replaces your doctor.

In the session
Your chart describes a temperament and build, in the old terms of hot, cold, moist and dry.
We see how your energy tends to run through the day, the month and the seasons, and what the Moon and the planets in motion are doing to it now.
We look at which planets and signs go with the nerves, digestion, circulation and structure, and where your chart shows ease or strain.
I read Western Medical Astrology alongside the organs and elements of Chinese medicine, which share a worldview of balance and season.
We can talk about sleep, energy, digestion and the pace of a hard stretch. Anything that sounds like a symptom goes to your doctor.
Bring what your clinicians have told you if you like. I read the chart next to it and leave the medicine to them.
Mention Medical Astrology when you book. Keep working with your doctor; this sits alongside that care.
How a session goes
Send your birth date, time and place when you book, along with anything in particular you'd like to talk about. I'll take a look at your chart beforehand.
Over Zoom, where you'll see the chart or the cards and hear my reasoning. It's a dialogue: ask questions as they come up, and we'll flesh it out together. To meet in person in Austin or San Antonio, write to me directly.
You keep the recording to return to whenever you like. Often I'll suggest something to read, watch for, or practice, so the reading keeps working.
